About WildCrest

Taking a deep breath of fresh air on a walk through the woods, on the beach, or just around your neighborhood is one of the best feelings there is. Getting outside is good for your physical health and your mental well-being. 

We founded WildCrest to help you get outside during your pregnancy and postpartum journey. Whether you are hiking in the mountains or just walking to work, we want you to have the best apparel the outdoor industry has to offer. Our goal is to create apparel with performance fabrics, reliable weather protection, and flexible fits that will keep you comfortable through every stage of your trail. 

We plan to make all of the key outdoor apparel products you need, including pants, shirts, pullovers, dresses, swimwear, breastfeeding-friendly products, and more. Each of these products will be made with breathable, stretchy, non-abrasive performance fabrics, and will be designed to fit through pregnancy and the years beyond.

About our founder

Julie Hartnack founded WildCrest a few months after her son Ryan was born in 2022. She dreamed up the idea for WildCrest while she hiked, walked, and waddled through the trimesters of her first pregnancy in Colorado. Julie and her husband Mike moved to Colorado to be closer to the outdoors and live for their adventures hiking, skiing, paddleboarding, kayaking, and camping. 

The WildCrest name

Having a baby is one of the most wild things you will do in your life. The journey has lots of ups and downs – small crests that you climb over and over again. WildCrest is a reflection of the nature of motherhood. Join us on the trail together!
